id didnt work on rpi1 for me either... maybe it is my nrf24 thats broken

I got it running on my Pi2 and esp is working. When I try to enable a GPIO pin after enabling Pi GPIO driver, the server spits out the following and shuts down. I have imported the updated files form earlier in the thread. Ideas?

Strange. Did you try MySensors driver? It also uses GPIO pins.

Is there a work around for needing hardware? I do not have any nrf24's. Server is saying to check wires.

Maybe a jumper from MOSI to MISO will fool it? I have not tried it though!
