Have you trie put some load on that relay?

i got the problem of esp8266 always do a reset and hang..

without the load on that relay (just using led) it works flawlesly..

right now i'm using a 100uf caps between VCC and Ground.. it fix the reset problem..

I have same problem, when i use relay with 220v esp reset and hang... what can we do ? a 100nf ceramic caps between vcc and ground of esp ? i use a 1000microfarad capacitor on 3.3v in my project and a 100mf on 5v , but nothing change...

I also cut rst pin... Until now i don't have reset problem..

My esp only hang when a suddent power come, usually after a power failure.... Reset manualy and it Work normal again... It seems esp cant except a suddent power..

Make a reset circuit, only a capacitor and a resistor
