So my ignorance has shown and continues. I have resolved the previous issues and been able to compile the sketch. However my LCD is on but only white. I am sure it is simple but i have no idea what i am missing.

The include for the screen should come with example sketches I believe

No luck finding a text sketch that will work. Im not saying its the hardware or software. Im guessing it is just beyond me for now.
