ESP8266 iot-playground questions [SCREENSHOTS]

Hello everyone, I've got a bit of experience messing around with Arduino and Pi stuff. Trying to get going with some IOT projects using various ESP8266, not having much luck.

I'm trying to follow this tutorial on iot-playground:
iot-playground.com/2-uncategorised/38-es...no-ide-blink-example

One of the first instructions asks you to:
"First we download ESP8266 Arduino IDE. Latest version can be found on GitHub. Just download latest version and unpack it in Arduino ESP folder on your computer."

Exactly what archive file do I download?

Then it asks me to "unpack it in Arduino ESP folder" - can I assume its the libraries folder below??

Thanks in advance!

Do I have to say THANK YOU if I already clicked the button?

... THANK YOU! Can't wait to see how this works.

For anyone else searching this out, Souliss IoT open source mobile app sounds promising

I think you should need to visit a link having the latest tutorial. I want to know about your project, i mean what you are going to do with the Arduino and the ESP8266. Can you please share your whole setup here?
Also what about your firmware, can you post it also?
Are you using any other development board or any hardware with this setup?
