Seeing as how the memory on the pi is limited to the card in use I wonder if it's going to be possible one day to send the data over a LAN to a mysql on a small NAS or server?
Then to get this data back for the graphs when requested...

SD card size is not the issue. I'm testing in my network with one sensor oversampling(1 min) temperature. In 4 months DB size is 5.5M. New version will also support averring of values. For example if I measure outside temperature with sampling rate 1 min, and then write in DB only one average value every hour or 30 min.
