Hi. i have a rpi and i would like to monitor the state of 1 door and 2 windows. The max distance (cable wise) is not more than 3 m. i have bought 3 magnetic reeds and i would like to know if a door/window is open or closed and present them in a web page in my LAN. I would appreciate any help available please.

You can use GPIOs ports. I recommend you to use additional optocoupler circuit to decouple GPIO from reed relays.
