OK. So how to do?????

The 'build' had little info and the 'how to do' link doesn't even mention fuses!>!>!???!?!

So if you have worked it out - how about a turorial that the rest of us can follow?

Something nice and easy, step-by-step.

I am currently at the same step, trying to burn fuses by connecting pc -> usb -> arduino uno clone -> dupont cables -> pro mini clone. However I get stuck with this message: avrdude: Error: Could not find USBtiny device (0x1781/0xc9f)

Now I am even more confused!

Why doesn't Mr.EIoT 'tutorial' cover ALL the steps and work?

Your post has a completely different string and no info on how to get it working.

It really shouldn't be this difficult and frustrating .....

Are you using an usbtiny programmer? No! You're using an arduino uno as programmer...avrdude -c arduino -v -p m328p -P com4 -b19200 -U efuse:w:0x07:m

Change only com port according to your com and rock and roll.....
