Rpi as a node??? was created by skywatch
Hi,

I order to save my precious arduino pro-mini's I was wondering if it is possible to use a Rpi as a node? This is not the pi the server is running on, but another remote pi somewhere else.

Is it possible? If so how?

Thanks.

If you think to install two EasyIoT servers on two RPIs then answer is no. But you can install some third party SW with MQTT support and connect it to EasyIoT server on other RPI.

I was hoping to have one pi as a EIoT server and another pi running Kodi but with a nrf24l01+ (or fake copy!) attached so it would still be able to send and recieve data from the EIoT server.

Is your Kodi connected to your local network?

If so, it is possible to write some software on it and sent it to and from the Kodi RPI to your IoT RPI.
By using MQTT
