Another esp8266 touchscreen thermostat problem...

8 years 5 months ago #3324 by hunnimonstr
I Have the h/w and arduino s/w sorted( well compiled and loaded onto the mega board. ) Ready to turn on and test after another run through all the prototyping wires..

And i have reflashed original firmware for the AT interface onto my esp8266, powered by an independent 3.3v psu and connected via a LLC

Turning my attention to the server side i attempted to follow the first step by logging onto the EasyIoT Cloud server and tried to follow
Configure->Drivers->ESP8266 EasyIoT

but no Drivers option can be found?..

er?? i would rather not host a local server it kinda defeats the point..

TIA

EasyIOT cloud and EasyIOT are different implimentations of EasyIOT... the example you are using is for EasyIOT local server...

Use this project as an example of ESP8266 speaking to the EasyIOT cloud through the CloudAPI

iot-playground.com/blog/2-uncategorised/...ot-cloud-rest-api-v1

the API library is here

Change the settings and libraries to fit your needs
