[solved] Can't browse EasyIoT server on mobile

Hello the forum,
I don't know if it's a bug, or a feature, but for me it's annoying.
I can access easily EasyIoT server by Firefox on Windows (http and https). But I can't via the default browser of our (several years old) smartphone under Android 2.3: a Galaxy S+ and an HTC Legend.
-> I only get a blank screen.
And when the server is down I get a timeout, as predicted.
I tried to change popup management and other settings, but it's far less customisable than a full-size browser application.
On another hand I commonly use my Galaxy S+ to browse another web page of the same RaspberryPi (different port) and use JuiceSSH for console management or TotalCommander to file management over Samba share as root or as Pi user, over Lan or Wan.

Any clue for this blank screen? Any test I could do to troubleshoot?

I get the same problem with my android (2.2.3) that I use mainly as a media controller. It would be nice to access EIoT from it, but I have tried 2 different browsers and both are not working.

Maybe they don't have HTML5 support?

But it uses XML and JavaScript.

Mine is in 2.3.6, I could upgrade (and did but reverted) but it would loose beloved functionality. The main one is Privacy. I don't have to register to Google. The data inside are mine and only mine!

Hahaha, of course ! It's a big shortcut ! Don't take for money marketing slides ! Do you thing that people with a 2 year old smartphone spend a lot of time on GooglePlay? An if less and less apps feat their OS, of course they'll come way less often on the marketplace.
But in the POV of a developper, I agree that an inactive smartphone owner is not a very potential client.
