Sorry, there is no support for Android 2.2 - this is 5 years old Android.

I found a solution. According to this page, Firefox mobile 35 is highly compliant with HTML5... and it needs only SDK 9 wich start at Android 2.3.0!
I downloaded and it works, even with SSL :woohoo:
Maybe a bit slowly on my device but it's OK, I'm not obliged to make it my default browser for every day's usage. [edit]The main challenge is how to reduce a chart into 480x800, especially with 4 scales indications.[/edit]

Sorry for you skywatch maybe you can try to update your mobile. Look for your mobile on XDA , I'm pretty sure they've a solution for you.

I can understand no app support for 5 year old software like android 2.2 or windows 7, but a web pag should work, shouldn't it?

The tablet is an old one that I use only as a controller for XMBC and Kodi servers, CCTV and occasionally streaming tv catchup.

If this is really not going to work then it kills my project dead in the water.

I'll go back to webiopi for the time being.

What is it that is stopping the web page from displaying?

Skywatch.

not all web pages are created equal. this one may just be too modern for your old OS....
