Our goal is to create secure, reliable and cheap platform for Internet of Things at your home. We will provide DIY tutorials to build IoT using components like Raspbery Pi, Arduino, NRF24L01+, ESP8266 and our EasyIoT Cloud. With help of EasyIoT community we will make IoT world Easy Internet of Things world (EasyIoT) .

EasyIoT framework is not home automation. Of course you can build home automation system, but you can build much more. Do you need advanced alarm system, remote plant irrigation system, solar cell charger control, SMS controlled heater,  door opener, hydroponic system or even automation process control system. All this you can easily build with EasyIoT framework.

Basic requirements for EasyIoT framework:

  • secure - we don't want our neighbour (or stranger 1000 km away) switch on/off our lights :).
  • reliable - no need additional explanation.
  • cheap - we want to build our system using components easily available on market for low price.
  • access to our system from everywhere with different connection options.
  • low power consumption - our system runs 24/7 so we dot't want to increase our electricity bill because of that. We also want to run our sensors on batteries at least one year (sometimes even 5-10 years).

EasyIoT programme is co-financed by the European Union.

Will be Your project free of charge? Will it support secured connection & wired connection between sensors and server? Is it possible to transmitt the data from server to Arduino board for further displaying.

EasyIoT server is free for non commercial use. Here is list of tutorials how to connect sensors to server
iot-playground.com/build

Of course you can build much more sensors, because EasyIoT framework is flexible.

Do You know the reason cause MySensor did this? And other question. Will You continue to support MySensors sensors or switch on ESP8266 sensors?

I guess it was "political" reason. Anyway, we will continue to develop EasyIoT framework and support NRF24L01 transceiver, which is by the way great HW for low power sensors.

Did happen something with Mysensors guys? I saw Easyiot disappeared from the compatible controller list in the Mysensors site. I was considering both (Mysensors and EasyIot) to deep into....

Yes, they removed EasyIoT server from list of controllers. It's lost for MySensors users, not for us.
Anyway, we will focus on future development of new features in EasyIoT framework.

This is a fantastic concept and has great potential. But for a beginner an extremely basic tutorial on remote sensors would be helpful. An example: I get a compile error saying: “door_window_sensor:20: error: 'MySensor' does not name a type” Not sure even where to go to fix that because it is not obvious?? I am probably not the only one. A generic tutorial for those who do not have a strong C background might encourage more followers for your blog. Ideally a YouTube video, or Instructable or just a simple help file to walk through on setting up a basic door alarm would be helpful.

Everybody is beginner at some point, I understand that. But please ask questions on the right place, that way you will help others with similar problems. When you ask question give as much info as you can. Your previous question was on wrong place and with no useful info. That's why it was deleted.
You most probably didn't install MySensors library. You can get MySensor library on my github. Google for instructions how to add new library. If you have more questions please use forum.
